Privacy Policy

This policy explains what information I hold, why I hold it, and what I do with it. The Hidden Tide is a small Reiki practice run by one practitioner, so the short version is that I only ever hold what I need to look after you, and I never share it without your permission.

What I hold

When you book a session, I hold your name, your email, your phone number, and the details of your appointment. If we talk before or after a session, I may keep a brief note so I can look after you well at your next visit. That is all.

Why I hold it

I hold it to arrange and provide your sessions, to be in touch about your bookings, and to keep the simple records a practitioner is expected to keep. I do not use your details for anything else.

Where it is kept

Your booking is handled through Acuity Scheduling, which holds your details securely on my behalf. Any notes I keep are held privately and securely. I do not sell your information, and I do not pass it to anyone else unless the law requires it.

How long I keep it

I keep your records for as long as I am expected to as an insured practitioner, and no longer. After that they are securely deleted.

Your rights

You can ask me at any time to see what I hold about you, to correct it, or to delete it. Just send me a message and I will sort it out. You can also raise a concern with the Information Commissioner’s Office if you are ever unhappy with how your information has been handled.
