Crystal Reiki

Crystal Reiki is the specialism of the Hidden Tide. It is the practice the work is named for. A Reiki session, with carefully chosen stones placed at the energy centres of the body.

What happens in a session

As in a Reiki session, you lie down fully clothed under a blanket in a warm, quiet room. Alongside the energy work, the practitioner places stones at the centres of the body. The stones are chosen on the day, for you, from a working collection gathered for its quality and its history.

At the close, if you would like to take the stones home, you can buy the set of seven with a small selenite to cleanse them, for £12, paid on the day. There is no obligation, the session is complete in itself.

The stones

The stones of the Hidden Tide are chosen for their documented history, not for fashion. Carnelian, carried in Egyptian tombs. Lapis lazuli, traded across four thousand kilometres into ancient Sumer. Amber, found in Neolithic graves across northern Europe. Each stone has a real past, used by real people. That history is the foundation of the work.

How the work is led

The session is led through breath, sound, and felt sense rather than visualisation. There is nothing to picture. The work begins low, in the settled centre of the belly, in keeping with the Japanese roots of Reiki, and moves with care through the body. You are led through your own felt sense, not through anyone’s mind.

Sessions

Crystal Reiki is a 45 minute session, £40, the same as a Reiki session. You choose Crystal Reiki when you book, or simply tell me when you arrive.

If you would like to take the stones home, you can buy the set of seven with a small selenite to cleanse them, at a discounted £12 on the day. There is no obligation, the session is complete in itself.

Your first visit includes a quiet fifteen minutes for us to talk through anything that would help me look after you well.

Sessions are held at Boughey House, Newport, on the last Saturday of every month and selected Wednesdays.

Crystal Reiki is offered as a complementary practice. It supports relaxation, energy balancing, and stress reduction. It is not a substitute for medical care.
